Visitor Information
NCAM is located in New Orleans East on the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF). All visitors MUST contact NCAM prior to their visit to obtain a visitor’s badge and parking instructions and must arrive prior to 4 p.m. Upon arrival, you must show a valid driver's license or other government ID to obtain a badge.
| From Armstrong International Airport: |
- Leaving airport, take Airport Access Road to I-10 East.
- Take I-10 east seven miles to I-610 split.
- Go 12.7 miles on I-610, which later merges with I-10 again, to I-510 (Exit 246A).
- Refer to last section of directions below to get to Michoud Assembly Facility.

| From downtown New Orleans or the French Quarter: |
- Drive away from the Mississippi River on Canal Street to I-10 overpass at Claiborne Avenue.
- Right on Claiborne and drive seven blocks to I-10 entrance ramp.
- Take I-10 east for approximately nine miles to I-510 (Exit 246A).
- Refer to last section of directions below to get to Michoud Assembly Facility.

| From Slidell, Louisiana or points east: |
- At Slidell, proceed on I-10 west across Lake Pontchartrain.
- After crossing the lake, go approximately eight miles to I-510 (Exit 246A).
- Refer to last section of directions below to get to Michoud Assembly Facility.

| To reach NCAM from I-510 (Exit 246A): |
- From the intersection of I-10 and I-510, take I-510 South and continue.
- Take the "Almonaster Blvd to Old Gentilly Rd" exit (Exit 2C).
- Get in the left lane and curve toward the traffic light / Stop sign.
- TURN LEFT at the STOP SIGN onto the Divided Highway and cross over I-510. NASA is about 1½ mile ahead on your right.
- Cross through the traffic light at Old Gentilly Road and Michoud Blvd., passing Gate #5.
- If your destination is Bldg. 350, enter the visitor parking lot on your right marked "Bldg 350 / Visitors’ Parking".
- If your destination is Bldg. 101, continue through the next traffic light, passing Gate #7 and the Saturn rocket, and enter Bldg. 101 parking on your right.
- Check in with the receptionist (in building 350 or 101) to obtain a visitor's badge.
- You will either drive onto the facility through Gate #7, or will wait in the lobby until a representative from NCAM arrives to escort you, as per prior arrangement with NCAM.
