NCAM Attends 2004 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, TX

During the first week of May, NCAM attended the 2004 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, TX, in support of Louisiana 's Department of Economic Development (DED) exhibit. The OTC exposition and conference is always one of the nation's largest energy industry trade shows and this year there were an estimated 50,000 attendees from 110 countries.

Louisiana Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco attended the conference to show support for Louisiana industry and to underscore her message that Louisiana policymakers are taking steps to make the state a better place for oil and gas companies to do business.

NCAM was represented by the College of Engineering 's Dean Russell E. Trahan, NCAM Director Bruce Brailsford and NCAM's Director of External Relations, Raphael J. Kuchler.
