NCAM Hosts Webcast Seminar

NCAM held an interactive webcast seminar titled "Resin Infusion Technology" on Tuesday, November 9 from noon to 3 p.m. in NCAM's main conference room.

The seminar was broadcast to 40 different sites, including NASA and Lockheed Martin, with multiple attendees at each site. The internet broadcast allowed individuals in locations around the country to receive the seminar on their own computers and to ask questions via phone, fax, or an online chat room set up exclusively for the participants.

This seminar was the second in NCAM's ongoing series of state-of-the-art, online educational programs for professionals in the field of the use of composites in aerospace technology.

Dr. Scott Beckwith, of BTG Composites, LLC, conducted this most recent seminar. He is currently the International Technical Director for the 5000-member Society for Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), and has key responsibilities over SAMPE Journal and Journal of Advanced Materials . Dr. Beckwith has over 37 years experience in the composite structures and propulsion industry.
