NCAM Hosts the UNO Chancellor's Advisory Council of 2004-2005

Chancellor Tim Ryan, University of New Orleans

NCAM hosted the University of New Orleans Chancellor's Advisory Council, 2005, at the Michoud Assembly Facility.

The Council is an organization established to advise the Chancellor in a number of key areas, including but not limited to, the University's role in economic development, business input to the curriculum, state and federal governmental relations, and interactions between the business community, faculty, and students.

The Council consists of local business and community leaders such as Mason Granger, President and General Manager of WDSU-TV, Channel 6 and Marshall D. Byrd, Vice President and General Manager of Lockheed Marshall Space Systems Company.

Attending the meeting from UNO were Tim Ryan, Chancellor and Russell Trahan, Dean, College of Engineering. Also in attendance was Bruce Brailsford, Director of NCAM.

The Council had an extensive tour of NCAM's latest technology during their visit.
