NCAM Sponsors the Advanced Manufacturing Leadership Forum
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- NCAM attended the Advanced Manufacturing Leadership Forum (NACFAM) on June 9 in Washington D.C. NCAM, along with the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center and Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, sponsored this Forum.

NACFAM, (National Council for Advanced Manufacturing) is a preeminent policy research organization that provides manufacturers and government - reinforced by academia, research, manufacturing centers and labor - a non-adversarial forum to work together in the development of policies and strategies that strengthen the competitiveness of U.S. manufacturing.
NCAM was represented at the Forum by Director Bruce Brailsord.
At the June 9 meeting, NACFAM's Advanced Manufacturing Leadership Forum approved a series of recommendations in seven broad policy areas. They include:
- Leapfrog Technological Innovation
- Boost Workforce Education and Training
- Build a New Infrastructure for Supply Chain Integration
- Curb Structural Costs
- Increase Energy Reliability
- Make Corporate Tax Rate More Globally Competitive
- Secure Even Playing Field for Trade
