Partners for Stennis Visit Michoud

	Dr. Russell Trahan talks about NCAM manufacturing technology to visitors during their tour.

Partners for Stennis held their quarterly meeting at the Michoud Assembly Facility on Wednesday, November 18, 2009.

Their schedule included a general business and update on the Stennis-Michoud Corridor Alliance, a presentation from the Michoud MSFOC (Manufacturing Support and Facility Operations Contractor), a presentation from Lockheed Martin about a recent aerospace project at Michoud, lunch, and a tour of the facility given, in part, by Dr. Russell Trahan, Dean of the College of Engineering at The University of New Orleans.

Partners for Stennis is a volunteer group who advocate for space, earth and ocean exploration. They include members of regional Chambers of Commerce, economic development foundations, businesses, educational institutions, local governments, and community groups.
